Vishwa Jyoti Higher Scecondary Boarding School affiliated to Higher Secondary Education Board (H.S.E.B) is newly conceived and established by a group of highly experienced professionals in the field of educaton, deeply committed to impart need-based quality educaton to its students so as to achieve academic excellence in performance.
Visha Jyoti Higher Secondary School (VJHSS) was initially established in the year 2051 BS(1994 AD) by
a group of highly experienced professional in the field of education at Pragatinagar - 3 ,Nawalparasi in collaboration
with Nawal English Boarding School, established at Rajhar VDC in the year 2039 BS (1982 AD) to promote it from
Primary Level to Secondary Level and was run under the name of Nawal English Boarding School (NEBS) at
Pragatinagar up to 2056 BS (1999 AD). NEBS was later merged into Vishwa Jyoti English Boarding School in the
year 2057 BS (2000 AD).In the year 2064 BS (2007 AD) the school upgraded itself to the Higher Secondary Level,
affiliated to the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) and started running classes in the science and
management stream. The school has been categorized as “ B “ Grade Institutional School in the district.

Parents, students and the school authorities are a team and we have to complement each other’s efforts.
Vishwa Jyoti has the mission that we explore the potential of individual students and promote excellence in every walk of life. With its history of well over twenty-six years and ground-breaking strategies into the future, Vishwa Jyoti represents excellence in all aspects of its operation.
Vishwa Jyoti, we focus on complete development of our students by involving them in both scholastic & co-scholastic activities as suggested by National Curriculum of Nepal Government . I am sure this will help our children to realize, understand & explore their talents. In order to do this, the parents and the school authorities must work together to inculcate certain values in the students. “Sound body has a Sound Mind.” Let us allow our children to develop physically & mentally. Children learn a lot of values when they are involved in Sports & Games. Some of these life skills & values cannot be taught in the classroom or at home. Vishwa Jyoti provides enough opportunities for the children to participate in Sports & games.
“If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardener, it will become good, and produce better fruits.” Therefore, children must be given a good training from their earliest childhood. Infrastructure
The school’s infrastructure is spread upon 2.0.0 Bighas of land in which 8 blocks of buildings are constructed to provide 76 rooms that are required to run the classes, library, science lab, computer lab, audio visual room, hostel accommodation and fooding / lodging systems.A separate temple of “Goddess Saraswoti” is constructed to develop the children’s sense of religious consciousness, moral and manners so as to strengthen their wisdom and positive attitudes.
- Cafeteria:- Hygienic and fresh food is provided to the students at low cost.
- Sanitation:- Adequate sanitation system for all the school children & staff
- Drinking water:- Pure and filtered hygienic drinking water for the safe and sound health of all the Vishwa Jyoti family.
- Alternate power source:- Due to the load – shedding trouble caused in the electrification system, the school has a provision of a 25 K.V.A generator to supply power requirements of all the systems in the school.
